MP3 Sound Modul
The MSM4 is a very compact MP3 player for universal use. It is able to play up to 10 MP3 sound files in different configurations from a microSD card. The MP3 files are selected either by external switching signals or switching contacts. An integrated amplifier allows direct speaker connection, and a stereo signal can be extracted via a cinch socket board.
The possible length of the individual sound files, which can be easily assigned to the signal switching inputs, is only limited by the size of the microSD card used, so that the playback of very long sound files is not a problem. It is also possible to play complete playlists. In the improved version of the MSM4 compared to the predecessor MSM2, the wiring with buttons or contacts for calling up the sound files is much less complicated. The connection to controlling circuits is also very easy, since each input only has to be connected to ground.
A trim potentiometer and a selectable basic gain for the onboard power amplifier allow easy volume and gain adjustment for the onboard amplifier. For the stereo audio output, the volume can be adjusted using the control buttons. The cinch socket board supplied can be connected to the connection for the external (stereo) amplifier either directly or via a cable connection – this also simplifies this connection.
With a special circuit, the switch-on click is effectively suppressed with this module, thus eliminating this annoying source of error noise.
New features have also been added to the operating and playback options: e.g. different random modes and temporary playback only as long as you press a button.
